The name

Dreaming Creek
is a real creek

A real stream in Madison County, and tradition holds Daniel Boone dreamed it before he ever saw it. Around here, "meet me at the Creek" stopped meaning the water a long while back.

The building

Built in 1968.
Not for this.

Social Security offices first, child services after. It sat quiet until we found it, and it just felt right. Same grey brick, better purpose.
